Zain Mahmood has been leading and growing businesses around the world over 25 years.

Zain honed his leadership skills with Blue-Chip Global companies AlliedSignal, ABB and Johns Manville and eventually became became CEO of Parkson (water technology) and Demilec (Building Materials).

In 2016, Zain joined WR Grace to take their building materials business, GCP Applied Technologies (GCPAT) public. Recently Zain lead a “roll-up” in the construction chemicals space with private equity group Audax and joined a family office to conduct a series C fund raise for Nuvoda.

Zain also serves as an advisor to SBK Ventures, the first Tech oriented Social Impact Fund in Bangladesh.

Zain and his family are based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Sandi Finn

Board Member

Sandi Finn is a board member, CEO mentor, angel investor and C-suite executive with a 30+ year history leading successful corporate transformations in business and consumer service industries. Now retired from her tenure as President of Cross Country Home Services, one of the largest and fastest growing private companies in the state, she has been repeatedly recognized as one of the top business women in Florida. Earlier she held leadership positions at Cendant Corporation, Haddon Holidays, and EF Hutton. Non-profit commitments include The Venture Mentoring Team, Social Venture Partnerships, and Babson WIN Lab. Sandi is based in Fort Lauderdale, FL.

Jen Klaassens

Board Member

Jen Klaassens is an acknowledged “go-to” leader for the philanthropic sector in Broward County. In 2015, Jen founded Jen Klaassens Consulting, and is the force behind Inspired Philanthropy™, a simple concept that strives to catapult philanthropic giving and make it more efficient. Jen specializes in helping private foundations, corporations, and high-net-worth individuals concentrate their efforts on strategic charitable giving. She coaches’ nonprofits to maximize their revenue to further their mission for the good of the community.

Previously, she served for 7 1/2 years as the Vice President of Programs for The Wasie Foundation, a private family foundation.

She is an advocate for many social causes and is committed to philanthropy on a personal level. Her infectious enthusiasm and tireless dedication led her to participate in the “2013 Freedom Climb” for Operation Mobilization, bringing much-needed awareness to Human Trafficking by climbing Mt. Everest in Nepal. In recognition of Jen’s numerous community accomplishments, both Broward County and the City of Fort Lauderdale officially proclaimed April 14, 2010 as “Jen Klaassens Appreciation Day.”

Ursula brings a unique blend of 20+ years of management consulting know-how, executive leadership experience in a variety of businesses and deep, first hand Industry insights.

She has held various executive leadership positions in Europe, Asia and the USA, and worked in Environmental Services, Water/Wastewater, Automation & Controls, Internet of Things (IOT), Communication, Healthcare, Power Generation, Transmission and Distribution. She is currently the Managing Partner of a Consulting firm, supporting various deals for Private Equity and Investment Firms along with significant projects for top tier companies and start-ups.

She holds a Double Masters Degree in Engineering & Management (cum laude/with honors) from KIT (Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, one of the largest and most renowned research and educational Universities in Germany), along with Degrees from INSEAD’s Women Leadership Program and Asian International Executive Program.
Ursula is truly a global Mind: she lived in Germany, the Netherlands, China, Singapore. She has called the US home for the last 10 years and resides with her husband in Daytona Beach, Florida.

Jay Lundy has in-depth experience in ambitious innovation and impact projects as a consultant and entrepreneur for over 10 years.

In Jay’s work as a strategy consultant, he has managed organizational transformations, growth strategy and operating model design efforts with leading energy, financial services and technology companies across the globe.

Additionally, Jay has extensive experience in social impact and education. He has served as a public school teacher, worked on several political campaigns and managed a social impact portfolio for The Miami Foundation.

Jay has also co-founded several companies in the health and wellness space and is an active angel investor.

Jay splits his time between Miami and New York City with his wife and son.

Jameli Bedran

Business Development

Jameli is an accomplished fund development professional with over 20 years of experience in the South Florida market.

She holds an MBA in Global Management with a minor in Marketing. As an entrepreneur, Jameli lead her family business in Montreal while simultaneously managing the construction of 2 villas in Belize. In addition to her professional career she has served as a board member for various local nonprofit organizations collaborating in their strategic initiatives and leadership.

Forrest Hardy

Investment Associate

Forrest brings six years of experience to the social enterprise world. He began his journey by co-founding Snapgood: a mobile-oriented platform for corporate volunteerism that connects employees with local nonprofits. Snapgood successfully raised over $500k in capital and resources from impact investors and participated in multiple startup accelerators including the Rally Social Enterprise Accelerator, and was a featured corporate volunteering solution in a study commissioned by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.

Forrest has also served as a mentor for many startups through the Orlando-based accelerators StarterStudio and Blackstone Launchpad. He is a Hive.org alumnus, YC StartupSchool graduate, and 500 Startups Bootcamp participant. In 2019, he joined as an advisor for StreamGuard, a Miami-based cloud streaming cybersecurity startup.

Forrest holds a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Central Florida, with a minor in International Engineering and the distinctions of Summa Cum Laude and University Honors. He is now starting a new venture in the real estate tech space, and looking forward to helping other mission-oriented founders in the social enterprise and tech sectors.

Eduardo Rabionet

Eduardo is a structural engineer, currently supervising building restoration projects in South Florida. He has managerial experience with BASF in the construction chemicals space, where he oversaw sales of multiple product lines and executed business development plans.

Eduardo also works as a consultant, and has launched strategic growth and marketing efforts with several soccer-based organizations. Additionally, he volunteers with Morningday Community Solutions, contributing to the redistribution of excess products and supplies from retailers to local non-profits.

A son of immigrants himself, Eduardo is passionate about uplifting South Florida’s immigrant entrepreneurs and underserved populations. He speaks Spanish and English, and is an active real estate investor. Eduardo lives in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
